Marsha

Marsha Dockery

Owner / Accountant

Marsha graduated from Butler County High School and attended Western Kentucky University. After serving as office manager for her father’s trucking business – taking care of accounts payable and receivable, and payroll – she worked for a CPA in Bowling Green, KY then as an accountant for Jack Benson, CPA where she handled billing, bookkeeping, and individual and business taxes. In 1996 She began working for Pinnacle Taxx. In 2005 Marsha, along with her partner Lance Howard, took the opportunity to acquire control of the Pinnacle Taxx client base and transitioned to MLE Tax Advisors.

When not at work Marsha enjoys spending time with her family, watching football, reading, and practicing yoga.

Lance

Lance Howard

Owner / Accountant

After graduating from Boone County High School Lance attended the University of Kentucky, graduating with a BS in Accounting. In 1992 Lance began working for Jack Benson, CPA followed by Pinnacle Taxx in 1995. In 2005, along with his partner Marsha Dockery, he formed MLE Tax Advisors.

When not working on the accounting needs of his clients, Lance enjoys golfing. He also coaches football at Lloyd Memorial High School, serves as deacon at Florence Christian Church, and is Treasurer of the Boone County Educational Foundation.

Sam Redden

Tax Accountant

After receiving a Bachelor of Science from Western Kentucky University, Sam owned a small retail business – giving him first-hand insight into the needs of a small business client. He then worked for Jack Benson, CPA before transitioning to MLE.

Sam is a slightly over-obsessed Bengals and Reds fan, enjoys music, and is the self-proclaimed “World’s Worst Guitar Player.”

Guido (Guy) Stephenson

Tax Accountant

Guido (Guy) Stephenson graduated from Connor High School, in Hebron, Kentucky.  He attended both Northern Kentucky University and Kentucky State University.  He began a nearly 38-year career with the Kentucky Department of Revenue.  During that time he worked in Division of Collections, served as a Field Representative, and supervised a unit in the Call Center.   The last 17 years of his Revenue career, he was the District Manager of the Northern Kentucky Taxpayer Service Center.  Guy began working for MLE Tax Advisors in 2022.

Guy has a passion for reading and loves spending time with his family and friends.
